About Us
At Stowhill Estates Berkshire, we combine expertise, passion and a personalised approach to achieve outstanding results. Here’s more about what sets us apart.
Hi There!
We are Tim & Julia
Follow Us
Before setting up Stowhill Estates Berkshire, we both had very different careers.
Tim spent over 20 years working all over the world in various sales and relationship management roles in the tech industry. Meanwhile Julia built her career in marketing, much of it in the food and beverage industry, working on everything from branding and innovation in the wine world to launching a start-up beer club from scratch.
We started Stowhill Estates Berkshire because we wanted to use our skills and experience in sales, marketing and relationship management in a capacity that felt more meaningful, personalised and ultimately, more rewarding. For us, this business is about more than just selling houses – it’s about people. It’s about building relationships, taking away stress, and making what can be a daunting process feel enjoyable. We care about the details that others might overlook, and we’re proud that the people we work with feel looked after and supported from start to finish.
We live in Warfield with our Labrador Amber, who came to us through volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind. We love being part of the local community – whether that’s at local music events, entering produce shows or just sitting in the pub garden. Golf and snowboarding are two of our shared passions. Tim also has a habit of collecting hobbies, from carpentry to music, while Julia puts her creativity into photography, painting and just about any craft she can get her hands on.
Life is full, but that’s exactly how we like it.

A little more about Tim in his own words
I have always been fascinated by the property market, especially as a lifelong Berkshire resident and having seen many changes in the local area over that time.
Having the opportunity to work with some amazing clients (who are now very much classed as friends!) has been hugely enjoyable over the last few years. Knowing that I am a small part of shaping the story of their lives is incredibly rewarding and a real privilege.
Buying and selling a home is intensely personal and we have learned so much about how best to support people on that journey, but every single one is different. Everyone has their own unique circumstances and needs to be met and that’s what I love about what we do – it’s never boring!
It’s hard to imagine what I would do if I wasn’t doing this but I’m sure whatever it was, would come with a lot of equipment just like most of my interests. Music, carpentry, golf, snowboarding – why do I only seem to gravitate towards things that require lots of stuff? (Sorry Jules!)

Who is Julia
Having spent a decade in the wine industry, some people thought I was mad for giving up the ‘dream job’ for something new – but finding people their perfect home excites me even more than finding them a delicious glass of wine! I’ve been working in Marketing for over 20 years, and have been fortunate enough to be involved in so many aspects of several industries (mainly wine) from customer marketing, to innovation, to Head of Marketing for a beer club, to brand manager for an Australian wine brand (conveniently named RedHeads!). It’s fair to say, if you need wine advice, I’m your girl.
Having the chance to be part of people’s lives in a more personal way is something I find incredibly rewarding. My husband Tim and I love nothing more than spending time with people and building meaningful, long-term relationships.
Outside of work, I’m a volunteer for various projects – litter picking in local areas, working for Guide Dogs for the Blind (which is how our beautiful Amber came to live with us!) and supporting local animal charities. I love being creative; photography, painting, sculpting, glass-blowing…you name it, I’ve tried it. I’m a fair-weather golfer and you’ll also find me daydreaming of my next snowboarding holiday in the garden of our local pub.
